Countdown - Day 5

Five days until BowlQuest gets up and running.  No school dumped their coach today although Western Kentucky made news by hiring Bobby Petrino, he of the disgraced departure from Arkansas.  So, five of these for day 5.

Bobby likely won't coach the Hilltoppers in their bowl game - hopefully he stays off his motorcycle and secretary during the down time.

Top 5 games of the bowl season (in no particular order)
1. UCLA vs. Baylor, Holiday Bowl.  Lots of points should be scored in this one. 
2. LSU vs. Clemson, Chic-Fil-A Bowl.  As always, more was expected from Clemson.
3. Mississippi St. vs. Northwestern, Gator Bowl.  Northwestern is always entertaining.
4. South Carolina vs. Michigan, Outback Bowl.  The Visor vs. Too Manly For A Jacket.
5. Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma, Cotton Bowl.  Johnny Football!  This is usually a good game.

Not one BCS game in the bunch.  Stanford vs. Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl may be the most competitive game of those. 

Top 5 games likely to be blowouts.
1.  Oklahoma St. vs. Purdue, Heart of Texas Bowl.  This will look like a crime scene.
2.  Cincinnati vs. Duke, Belk Bowl.  Blue Devils giving up 50 per game in their last four.
3.  Texas Tech vs. Minnesota, Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas.  Another Big 10 showcase.
4.  Florida St. vs. Northern Illinois, Fedex Orange Bowl.  Nice honor for the MAC, but a beat down.
5.  Alabama vs. Notre Dame, BCS Championship Game.  Could be embarrassing for the Irish.
